um, is it just me or did half of this thread kinda dissappear?????

anyhow, got out at sparrows this morning, and for good reasons too. Nice chilly breeze and then a couple of good yellowbelly right on sunrise. One measured 55cm, the other @ 51cm. I ended up catching more natives than reddies this morning, only 1 reddie @ 29cm.

The weather was getting really good there but i had to leave for work, hope you smashed a few after i left buck.IMG_0487.jpgIMG_0505.jpgIMG_0496.jpgIMG_0486.jpg

Good work drunkimunki, what did you get them on? I went out for couple of hours through the middle of the day, had a yella follow the lure to the boat looked to be about 50cm caught couple reddies not much else.

Well done steve, I should have followed you mate. I ended up with a couple of reddies and a missed opportunity with a golden who played around with my spinnerbait a few times on the retreive, just wouldnt take the hook the bugger...... good to see they are starting to wake up

got the first one (female) on a strikepro medium diver in a lime green and the second one almost straight away on a natural coloured jackall.

that 3.5 metres mark strikes again, i was getting very good thermocline readouts at that depth. Water temp was around 13.5 degrees in the shallows, both fish struck on a downward depth change.

I am sooooooooooo going out again tomorrow morning :-P

I've had enough run ins with rowers to pretty much stay away from the water police up to the black mountain boatramp completely. They never look and i got tired of yelling out to them, and getting abused in return :-/
