    Default Catching Carp At LBG

    hey guys,
Me and the missus got bored this arvo and decided we'd go down to LBG to catch some carp on light spin gear using corn for bait. The missus got one that was 65cm and i got one that was 70cm and its a nice long fight when they are that size on light gear, we had fun though took a little fold out table and a couple of chairs and our portable gas cooker and had a feed with a few beers over around 3 hours. here's some pics.....

Nice work mate! Cracker carp there.

Aren't they the ducks guts on spin gear. Sometimes I take my 4lb bream gear down to the local lakes and catch em, keeps me entertained for hours!

    Cheers,

    Sam

yeah mate, they sure put up a good fight on light gear, we were both using 4lb braid with 4lb fluro leader. the missus had lots of fun which is always a bonus. We even had some un-educated idiot tell us to put the carp back and not kill them, that was a shock. but i had to say no and kill them anyway :)
