Further to your list I would rate Tullaroop Reservoir (Near Maryborough, Central Vic) as one of the premier trout waters in Vic. Prior to the drought of course....
G'day All,
I reckon the Yarra River is pretty good - esturay species (Bream, Trevally, Mullet, Tailor, Flatties, etc) below Dights Falls and then up in the Fresh you will find Macquarie Perch, Carp, Roach, Eels, Redfin, Tourtises, Cod, etc.
It does take little bit of time to work how to target each species and where to fish for them, but once you have a good spot it will probably stay good for quite a while - I have some spots that are less than 1KM from the Banksia St bridge in Heidelberg that have always produced Maccas.
Regards
Mike
P.S. Timber Lake aint to bad either![]()
