Hope it's cool to put this up mods. I've got nothing to do with it but i'm going along to learn from the master !! Just thought some other QLDers would like to know about it as a oportunity like this dosnt happen very often up here. Best $150 or $300 a budding fly fisher could ever spend IMO.

Fraser Guided Fishing along with Peter Morse would like to invite you to attend one of our 2 fly fishing clinics on Sat 14th of July and sun 15th of JUly 2012

Peter is Australia’s foremost saltwater fly fisherman, renowned photographer, writer and FFF master certified casting instructor.

On Saturday the 14th will be the beginner’s class, covering the basics of fly casting and techniques to get you the most out of fly fishing.

On Sunday the 15th will be the advanced class and will cover, loop control, dealing with the wind, distance, using shooting heads and general look at your technique to iron out any problems.

Peter will have a range of SAGE products including rods and reels to try, along with different RIO fly lines.

Cost is $150.00 per day and includes lunch and beverages.

Juniors under 17 will be at a discounted price.

Times will be 9am until 4.30 pm. Venue will be out at Booral, Hervey Bay.

The last few years we have had a great few days and turn out 2012 looks to be another great few days.

What a awesome day. If ya get a chance to do this guys dont pass it up. I thought i had a decent cast.....it was $H!T compared to the casts i was doing at the end of the day. Peter gives everyone his individual time and is a nice bloke who really knows his stuff. He's patient and teaches very well.

Not just casting either. Leaders explained and tied (his demo of why a tapered leader is vital was fantastic), fly tying, Roll cast's, mending, curved cast etc, etc. all explained and shown in easy to understand terms and demos.
Best money i've spent on my fishing in a long, long time. You get to play with some of his Sage rods and reels and try out diffrent line types too.
Not to mention letting us have a sticky beak at his fly boxes which was cool as.
He dosnt give a rats if your gear is worth a $50 or $1000 he just wants to share his knowledge of fly fishing. Dont want to sound like i'm pissing in his pocket but i have met fishing 'celebrities' who seem to have ego's and chips on thier shoulders. There was none of that crap. Everyone was made to feel welcome and equal no matter your gear or skill level. :)

Glad it went well Sean, no matter how good you are, their is always something you can learn off the bloke next to you. Pete is one of the best.
