darlington piont
Heading out to Darlington point in a couple of weeks. Does any one know what the fishing is like out that way? We will be casting and bait ( if the old man gets his way ) and putting a pot of two in.
Thanks
Jeff

It's currently muddy out there due to the recent rain but if it doesn't rain between now and then it should be fine. Don't know much on the fishin side of thinks though.
Goodluck,
Nathan.

Well I shouldlet you all know how we went out there on the week end. Got out there at Fridayand was all set up and ready to go by lunch, and then the rain started. only onand off but still not fun to stand in a winters day. got the pots in that arvoput even that was tricky. The river was flooded and running fast all the wayinto the timber. Checked them that night on dark for nothing. The next day therain was gown but the wind was there. between the fast water and the wind theMinkoder was all but imposable to keep straight. So no fish and no crays I thoughtI may as well sit on the bank and bait fish with beer in hand. Used the same grubfrom lunch time Saturday to Sunday morning with not a tooth make in it. Lost anew spinner bait, busted 2 pots and lost 1. Not the best fishing trip hay.
Also you blocks that cray fish a pit. What do you do when you lose a pot. ithas all my info on it. What fisheries find it next week and say it has been setfor to long. What than??
Cheers
Jeff
