It is amazng the satisfaction you get when you catch a species in a new fashion and by the sounds of things a cod on a fly is just that!

Well done Cod Gobler!

That's no mean feat. I'm having a crack at cod on fly in a couple of weeks, can't wait.

I'm interested in the fly. is it surface or subsurface? Looks like a mumbler/ cicada
