    Default Bait fishing for redfin.

the creek at home is way too dirty for catching redfin on lures, so i was wondering what peoples favourite rigs, setup and bait is for catching redfin using bait. thanks.

A nice full hook full of garden worms does the trick! Don't discount the lures though mate, try a lage profile bright soft plastic with 1/4 ounce jig head with a heap of scent on it. Any Harbody with a rattle and shuffle would be my first option though!
Rattlers like Kokoda G-Vibes will work as well.
Some of my mates reckon they have caught some awesome fish on lures in dirty water after rain in the rivers!!! Matt

well haha. go worms on float small as bubble with just enough split shots so it just floats. spray the worms with squigdy scent and you should do good put it under bout a metre. also peeled yabby tails with a worm on a hook with no sinker. and same with a bunch of worms if there jumping a hook some worms and scent will dominat on them always does

ive never used fluro, and cant see my self getting any anytime soon, as we relly on local tackle stores here and they supply for the local fisherman, and the local fishermen dont target redfin and dont use plastics on cod, so ill have to go else where.
