well worms work. and there was some lake in qld where they were getting them on sb's. i have only ever caught a few some on worms, corn and one on a tiny strike pro pygmy lure. but use small hooks they got tiny mouths
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....

    It's much more important!!!!!

They like the red clay banks for some reason esspecially after rain or after the chop has stirred the bank up a bit.Thats around my playground anyway.Rc
My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it .

Shallowish water can be the go, in the arms of the lake -- i don't know pindarri at all -- but look for muddy bottoms and air bubbles coming up.
A lot of time the perch will feed their way in a line and disturb the bottom.
Cast small minnow style lures -- stuff like deception shrimps and small stumpies -- which can dive alright.
Jackalls also work awesome, the good old faithfull peacock colour is my favourite :P
Fish light, they're an awesome fighting fish, seriously you will be surprised how much of a fight they put up.

Should be, I have a preference for natural colours, but just work your lures close to the bottom, along the weed edges and see how you go mate, if you find one then you'll find a couple :P

Got my first Silver the other Saturday at Split Rock, it took one of Got Buckleys homemade lures that had hit a tree branch and was floating on the surface! It fought like mad and was only in about a metre of water. It measured 52cm but the mouth was incredibly small and I was lucky to actually hook it, I would suggest anything with small hooks for a start!

    Cheers and Beers,

    Hangers.
