The top part is black , the middle is redish with black stripes and the bottom is yellow.

Btw, I finally caught redfin! My soft plastics aren't even getting a single bite, same as my poltergeist50, so I tried something new, Black and Gold Party Mix!

Works so well, I mean they keep biting again and again, and when I swapped back to soft plastics, nothing......weird....gonna use dark red lolies from now on. Lol.

Get a couple of celtas or jensen insects, vibrax or any spinner. If there is redfin there they cant go past a spinner. In 2002/2003 i was catching up to 80 redfin in an arvo with just celtas.Red and black plus a flouro orange jensen for when the light faded.Fishing on the bike path behind the hyatt is very productive for reds.

    Hi Lim
C,mon guys don't give im' more tips on catchin' carp.Don't get me wrong they would be good sport on light gear.
Get on the hardbodied crankbaits, jackal bibless, celtas etc they will keep you poor.
Find a mate with a pool, not a museum and test your s/ps or lures, taking notes so that you can employ it later on the water.
Check out weedless rigs for s/ps if your having trouble. But really as pete said live bait always wins handsdown.
You can try every colour and style and narrow them down to your favourites but in the end the crucial part is line class, jighead and tecnique that is important.
You could write pages on tecnique-ripping and stalling ,light, slow retrieves with stalls and twitches.A lot of the time you get strikes on the pause or when the lure is sinking.
Have a look at Squidgee secrets Dvds for S/ps.Watch the way Bushy fishes slowly and deliberately, always catching good sized fish.
Hope these tips get you going.
Can't wait to see your first reddie.
    Cheers mate

Where do I find celta in canberra? Near ANU. Cycling distance please. Hmm, I can't seem to be able to find celtas even online I mean.
    The best moment:

My first throw and I hooked 2 fish. 1 foul hooked though.

Edit:What is the most humane/least painful way to kill a redfin. Lol. I want to eat them but I don't want to see them die slowly due to suffocation.
