    mummabear51; hi cam you cant put a coat of paint on the reel foot because it on stick to the alluminum youll need what they call an acid etch first; but if you wash it down after using and dry it very well it should be okay ;the rod looks great next time use two colour bindings .ive made one spinning rod with a rainbow bindings it looks good; regards Ross

    John, I'd be happy to Knock up your 6/7 weight for you, and with three kids under 5 I could probably have it ready for you in about 6/7 years.
