THIS IS THE STEAL OF THE CENTURY!

I have a Daiwa Saltist 6500H used ONCE ONLY so brand new in box with receipt. 12 Months Warranty from Feb 2011 this year.(6 months half the warranty still remaining!!!)

I paid $290 cash for the reel and has no line on it as i still wanted that he he. This is a QUALITY REEL. For a budget Price

It can hold 500 metres of 70lb braid and 400m of 80lb braid.

You guys know the deal go to www.daiwafishing.com to look at the reel it is in near perfect shop quality ( pictures can be arranged). After using once it was thououghly rinsed greased with daiwa grease and inoxed wiped over and has never left the box.

This is a great entry reel to poppers for gts game fish and even for standup deep deep sea bottom bashing which i used it for the time i got it.

I really want to trade this reel for a daiwa saltist 4500 or a 4500h as this reel is too big for me. It will have to be in very sililar condition as i treat my reels better than my girl hehe.

Don't want to ask stupid questions, What are poppers and what are they used for ??? In laymens terms what sort of fishing is this rod used for ???? I get there is big reel 6500 other than that I am bit lost???

well this reel is an entry reel for big game like BIG kings marlin giant trevally deep deep sea bottom dwellers live baiting big fish. generally its a big brute of a reel. to be honest with how much line you can put on it like 4-500 metres of heavy ass braid so it would cost you more to put line on it then to but it. you can also use 30lb mono but it doesnt sit on it well as its too thick and it doesnt bed down well. also having 30kgs of drag you can put the hurt on big big fish.but only the guvinator would fish this with a locked drag. you would be over the side of the boat or literally have the reel ripped from your hangs lol

poppers are huge lures than when you impart an action on them make a bloop sound and creat a splash of water on them via a huge cup on the face.
