Salmon help
Hey guys
Was wondering if anyone has fished the gerringong/ kiama area for salmon off the beach?
What beaches are best and what sort of rig?

Hey,
Ive been landing a few off Easts Beach Kiama. If the tides low then up the side on the rocks on the Marsden St side can be good. lots of rod holders and very protected which is good too. I emphasis the 'can be good' fish very dependant on a mystery factor that i haven't quite worked out yet! but when they are on - they are big and great fishing.

Im either using Pillie on hanged or part pillie on a #4 hook. > 40cm of 15lb leader > Swivel > Running sinker on 20lb line.
Might not be the best fishing spot in the area but its safe when choppy, easy to get to and produces fish
