yeah mate, its not ideal as stainless would be lot better, but for a few home made lures you would be right. I have a heap of stainless and could cut you a few peices and send it to you if you wanted? But I would think about buying a lure kit of powelly if I was you, heard they are great and for the price you cant go wrong. Im even going to get one myself to try and pick up a few trips from a pro. cheers |

na i have got the shape right. and bib will do (needs some attention ) just have to get wire. will try a welding joint today. twist it up dril, glue, then clear coat it. will put some picks on in the next few days. i still need a better lure shape like yours though coz for a 60mm lure is pretty meaty .

now worries mate. i used 2 pack, but others used water based clear. I use enamels for the under coat and acrylic for colour, and I drill holes in the bib and bend the wire up once its in the holes hope that helps |

yeah getting them the same shape is tough, its all the process, if you follow the moves on each one they will get close, practice is the go. and the clear I use Albatross is Debeer ( think thats how you spell it ) but from what im told thats a bit pricey and there are cheaper ones about cheers |
