    Hi folks,
I've had a Garnin fishfinder 140 for a number of years and it has been very good to me.

But the last few trips out,it seems to drop out and then come back in of its own accord.
Me thinks it could be from one of the terminals on the back of the plug(from battery) is saltwater affected,similarly-there is also a terminal on the back of the fishfinder that is also saltwater affected.
Is there a way to get the plug( on the fishfinder)away from the body so that it can be cleaned.
More importantly--is there something that you can get into the sides of the prongs so that you can clean it properly.
Thanks and happy new year to everyone.:)
