Dorrigo

    hey plans have changed im no longer fishing pindari, i will be going to my dads friday and then dorrigo sunday. hoping to catch some cod(at dads) and trout. so if anybody has fished around dorrigo, or can give me some tips on trout fishing all help will be accepted as ive fished around dorrigo 3 times before and only have 1 trout to my name.

    well trout are a very caustious. so quite approach to the water is good. small trout pattern lures soft plastics spinners, light spinning gear 2-4 kilo rod 6 lb braid 4lb or 6lb leader and usually early morning an late evening best times

    Your redfin gear should work fine mate, Keegan has some really good advice their too, one gun lure you can't go past is the rapal cd-5 xD

    not sure of what time i will be there. will probably pick up small plastics what color and sort of plastic would be best. and i dunno how it will go but what about a small unweighted cray like plastic drifted in the current?

    i have a small rapala lure around somewhere will hunt for it, i use it on redfin and lost a large cod on it.

    well skipzx you sure love those CD-5s. and i have only every got trout on pink plastics, rainbow trout colour strikepro pygmy lure and in lakes cant go past pink tassie devils and rooster tail spinners also if in a lake use a bit biggger lures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i got some berkley craybob imitation plastics im going to try both weighted and un-weighted.

    they might work if its really clear water try berkly bulky horgs they look mudeyes

    thats what ive got. the water in the stream i fish is nice and clear (but freezing cold)
