    Hey everyone from Tacklebox.com,
I read a an post the other day ( couldnt remember if it was marc or fullboar who posted it) about 1 of those 2 releasing trout into the jackson's Creek. I was wondering if either you have been fishing in Jackson's Creek and if you have where are some good spots to go?

    Thanks Cam

other than that are you guys catching anu fish around sunbury.
I know its been a couple of years for me but I always managed to land a couple of reddies and the odd tench when ive tried.
2 of the reddies went over 4 pound from the exact same spot:p

Haven't caught anything out of the accessible parts of Jacksons, I think fullboar has many years ago. It's a bit hard now as it's very overgrown in most parts.

There's plenty of good reddie (BIG) spots in Sunbury .. PM me.

    Hi Guys,
I also live in Sunbury, yep Jacksons Creek is up and down with its flow; however the Nook does hold some reddies and good numbers of eels. It might be worth a walk around the Wetlands area on Racecourse Rd. as there are some dep holes that can be reached.
    Mark.

No Lairdy you can't camp around the Wetllands and the rest of Jacksons Creek runs through land owned by Salesian through to the Nook roughly then once again access after Sunbury is diificult due to private access.

hey guys, i too am from sunbury. didnt realise there was so many sunbrarians on here:confused:. there are plenty of reddies in spavin lol, fished there a while ago jus showing a mates little bro how to get started. caught about 20 reddies, biggest went 28cms. so mostly small stuff. would like to know of other places to fish in or near sunbury though, mulwala gets a bit far to drive after a few weekends in a row lol. anyone willing to give up some nice little spots?????
I have also fished the wetlands, both the swimming hole and the creek right up to the swimming hole with absolutely no luck, just 2 eels on worms and nothing on lures. i live right opposite the wetlands and even on the odd occasion the water is flowing i still have never seen any action.
