I have been having a go for a while now at making my own lures.

Here are a couple of my latest ones, Lizard topwater and Cod and Yella Swim bait.

Anyone else make any, would love to see them.
    Cheers Jed

I've often thought about having a crack at it. Did a lot of timber carving when I was a kid, but lost the enthusiasm as I got older.

It must be satisfying to make a lure and actually have it work & catch fish.

This! But I was useless at woodwork at school. If I do have a go it will be mainly to redeem myself with my history of having no practical skills!

    Hey Jeff,
These were just pine, I use what every I can get for free ;) .
I am in the process of making a guitar and have used Tassie Oak for the neck so will use some of the off cuts to see how they go.
    Cheers
