    Hi all

Is anyone planning a last attempt at cod before the close of season? I am thinking of launching one of the greatest cod offensives ever! Well, a trip to a creek or channel nearby! Normally when I ‘pump’ myself up for a big effort…it ends with me catching a carp…or nothing!

    Cheers

    Jim

It's wasn't far off bursting a couple weeks ago Sunday it had dropped heaps still running pretty quick and muddy I'm not sure if the council's reopened any of the bush tracks up yet the river will probly be looking good just as the season closes

Yeah I think when the rivers a bit dirty the fish feel more comfortable swimming around looking for food

The big questions is...did AWoL get out! Time will tell! Weather permitting, my next/last cod attempt will be Wednesday afternoon. I am going to the Nine Mile Creek. Each of the last three trips to this creek have produced a...yella! I am hoping to change that, well still wouldn't mind a yella, just a cod would go well too!
    cheers

Not bad DBK and Lf! Too bad AWL! Dave, did you try downstream of the weir, as in the pool at the base of the weir? You should have done what I told you...lift the grate on the fish ladder and drop a bait in! Sort of a drive through 'Maccas' for the hungry fish on their spawning run! Hopefully I will get out Wednesday arvo.
    cheers
