I'm looking to update my rods to something new to go with my three Caldia LT's.
    Anyone using the TD Blacks?

I want one for small hard bodies and another for plastics up to say 5-6 grams. I'm getting a Supacaster for the bigger stuff next week when my new Caldia 5000d-cxh arrives.

I'm not a Daiwa user TT, so can't comment on the TD Blacks, but from what I've read about them on other forums they seem to have a bit of a following.

    Welcome to the forum.

Cheers everyone, i had forgotten this was my first post.

Yeah the new ones get a good rap, but i can't figure out which is the best HB rod. The Itchy Twichy is good for plastics apparently and the Whippet.

Yeah, haven't posted on there recently, but it's been real quiet of late. Everyone is probably using facebook these days.

It seems to be the issue for a lot of forums, TT. I think it's got a lot to do with the pace of life where everybody is in a hurry for one reason or another.

If I'm looking for a quick answer to a query, I will often chuck it out there on facebook and then wade through the numerous replies to come up with something that makes a bit of sense. On the other hand, if I'm prepared to wait for an answer from those that I trust to offer sound advice based on knowledge & experience, forums are generally the best source of info.
