Is anyone interested in a get together say [Lake Nagambie] or any other suitable location with amenities [dunnies] easy access to fish, and not to far away for us old farts. BYO lunch etc.

    Open for suggestions.

Nagambie is about half way between Seymour and Shepparton.
Lyn and I wouldn't mind living there. We came very close.

Seymour may be a better option Kev. There are some parks there with amenities. Set a date sometime and we can go from there. On saying that, I actually have the odd thing coming up on weekends and I know Dave has as well but you ain't going to please everyone.
    cheers

Thank's Jim, Seymour may be a better option. I'll see how many are interested and go from there. Does it have to be on a weekend, with daylight saving, it could be an evening event. Just a thought.

Best on the weekend as far as I am concerned. It may only be an hours drive for me but I would happily spend 7 or 8 hours there from mid morning...rather than a late arvo session.

I was talking about a week day for my salt water day trip but that was because I go to Melbourne for other business on a Wednesday.
    cheers

For the next couple of months I'll be unable to go anywhere that is away from here.
    Long operation coming up.

Sadly it would be and 8 hour drive for me at least. Sorry guys that counts me out. Maybe something a bit further north.

Sorry guys I cannot make it, a min 8hour trip from the coast n all, but would happily go for a gathering around Canberra or South Coast NSW if we could get on a charter or something?

I would love to put some faces to names, but it's a bit far for me as well; I'm having enough trouble finding the time to get to Tuross/Narooma at the moment.
    Great idea though.:)

Not sure where all you guys are situated but it may be possible to organise a day and location to suit youselves.

One thing seems certain Party Planner. We are spread far and wide. Distance is a serious problem for most.
Good idea but hard to put into practice I feel.

Blair, I guess you'd go to Warrnambool via the Hume to start with. If you used the coast road you'd almost go past our door (give or take six kms),

There are offshore and estuary charters from both Narooma and Moruya that could likely be arranged.
There's also several hire boats on Tuross Lake.

Noel I intend to drive right to your door on the way to mexico and terrorize the fish in tuross for a while, I don't have a date yet I am guessing 18th of December if that suits you.
