Well bear with me as this forum and pics don't mix .
Anyway I went offshore today 17 5 2019 and for the 1st time since 2017 it was a good refresher.
Was on station for 1 hour and baged out .
And I have to say the new daiwa 4500 a very good reel I will be getting another one , not that today I could use more than one rod as the snapper and the couter gave me hell better to be busier than not .
Anyway hope the pics work .......

And to top it off I had to tow a 20 ' Haines in with my 14' tiny.
I had to tell them I had no sympathy for them as they fueled up with United crap ....

Ok today the fish were bigger in a different mark I have but I got a pasting from the couta and the seals so I only got 8 snapper and lost all the sinkers I had left so now time to make some more .
The trip out was flat as a shitcarters hat but at about 16:00 the breeze came up .
But the sunset was very nice ......
    Now some pics ......
And this is couta you just have sit and wait for 10mins until their gone
    [IMG]
    And the fish
    [IMG]
And a nice sunset to boot ......

A nice feed there Tack, and the photos are great. I.M.O the forum needs more photos this may attract more members.
If admin would fix the problem some members are having downloading photos it would be great

Well I could not go fishing through the week as my health would not let me but I got out on Thursday pitty cause this is what the bar looked like all week
    [IMG]
Any way got some more snapper and one of my favorite fish a nice sized leatherjacket I love the color in these fish .[IMG]
And as I said it was a nice size my foot is a size 11.
And because of my bodgy health if anyone wondered how I pulled up 6m of chain and a reef anchor maybe this pic will help .[IMG]
And my weapon of choice is now this combo I am very happy with it both rod and reel are built like a tank .
And the rest of the catch it was a bit low as even though the bar was flat out in bass strait it was white caps and I could hardly stand up .

    Cheers TAC
