...has anyone else noticed it is on?!!! I usually don't watch much cricket but have watched a few hours so far. Sometimes with the volume down whilst watching youtube. I don't really care who is playing either! That is all!!!!!

I've never been a cricket fan, boring game imo, but I occasionally watched snippets of those Big Bash games that showed a bit more spirit and aggression.

I did not know there was such an event as a Cricket World Cup, but it seems that there is a world cup for most sports, so why not cricket?

Are we winning or should I look for that info myself? No, bugger it - not interested.

Test cricket is rather like watching paint dry or grass growing.

I like the one day matches or the BBL, don't care for tests as much. Cheers, Lyall.

Yep, I watched a bit if Australia v West Indies the other day, and the first innings against India last night.

Must say I was impressed with the teams uniforms - nice, simple and basic - with no advertising plastered all over the front! Quite refreshing!

Apparently England is the favourite to win it, but India are in with a real show if last night is anything to go by...

That was fun! I had 3 hours sleep late in the arvo yesterday thinking that would get me through watching the final comfortably but after about 40 overs of the NZ innings, I lost interest and went to bed. Checked the scores occasionally online and then realised it was going to be close.

Then around 4am ish the live score said 'England needs 1 run from 0 balls' so I thought they had lost. Then realised it was a draw so had to hop up and turn the TV on to see what would happen....and it happened! One over each! With hindsight, I would have gotten up around 2am and watched all the action.

i used to love Cricket and all the Tests and Ashes as well. But During Ricky Ponting as captain era my hate for cricket came in. The teams became so cocky with their wins the commentators were so one eyed, TV sport was all cricket as Australia were in a great winning period. Now when Australia's run ended a while back and they were losing you would hear a one liner see nothing. So a mate and I no longer follow cricket and hope every match they play they lose as we barrack for anyone but them.
I have just got my renewal to the MCG and I don't know whether to renew it or not as I will be a full member for 47 years this year so nearly at the 50 year members club.
I Get free are RACV membership for over 50 years in the club only have to pay for total care so there is some perks available.
