Headed to Lake Eildon for my annual teach the yellas a lesson trip.
Got to the lake just after day break to join the multitudes of other fishos ignoring the race that stops a nation.
Water was nice a clear but very busy.
Fished hard and only managed a couple of small reddies and a carp (taken on lure)
This Saw Day One done and dusted.

Day Two we almost had the lake to ourselves.
We managed 4 Yellas 38cm, 42cm, 45cm and 49cm. They were all taken by slow rolling black gulp grubs around the trees.
I had a huge hit flick a brand new Zerek Fishtrap around a rocky drop off and the rear hook let go. This is a red fin and was no match for what I would imagine as a very decent cod.

We also managed a couple of reddies as well day two.
In the end we were blown off the water with the wind getting up.
    Cheers Jed

Nice effort jed and great to see fish pics up here! The fish trap...have you used them before? I guess they are rather good when chasing reddies or yellas!
    cheers
    Team Bender
