the last few days weather can best be described as average. This morning however, the suns was poking its head out so decided to go and try my luck along the jetty. Early start to beat the crowds, very little wind and a few rays of sun. Lost a good Mackie as I thought that 60lb mono leader would be enough. Haha.. after this tragedy moved onto a 50lb wire trace. Lost two more mackiesmbut finally hooked a nice Queenie. This was a catch and release effort but it was a PB.

That's a nice Queenie, Tim. Would have thought most of the southerners have already headed for home and not so crowded up there.
