I have just acquired a load of Daiwa duck fin plastic Shad's. 3 4 and 5 inch different type pattern's, they are so realistic I am definitely going to use these. What I need to know is how to store them and keep them soft as they have not got their original packets. also can you mix different patterns and colors together. I was thinking of the zip freezer type plastic bags. Cheers Wally
If these are the same type of plastic used in things like squidgies Z-Man and all the popular dry ones you definitely can not mix colours it will bleed into a god awful mess any Plano tackle box will store them they're all plastic proof sorry I am not much help
Wally, zip bags work for me. I bought some clear soft plastic minnows that didn't work at all until I accidently dropped a green sp grub in with them and they all took on a slight green tinge through colour bleeding - they worked after that, but as Tac commented, they could end up a god awful mess. Jeff
All done zip bags and I pinched a latch, lock and sealed plastic flat container out of the container draw it is perfect. Do you put a liquid in with the lures or just scent when you use them? Wally
With Berkley Gulp I put some recharge juice in the bag to try and stop them from drying out, but with all others I scent them when I use them. I'm not familiar with the Daiwa soft plastics, Wally. Do they come with added scent? Jeff
l bought them second hand Jeff so I don’t know how they come new. They look so realistic. Now in zip bags and air tight box. Wally
